Our Property

Guests will find our guest house inviting, comfortable, charming, smoke-free, and very clean. Our home is perfect for solo adventurers, couples, small families, and business travelers. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.

Our guests will have access to the entire 1,200 sq. foot guest house (everyday living areas), front porch, backyard, and patio.

This warm, attractive, two-bedroom, double-plank, bungalow-style home features a kitchen and dining area, living room, 3/4 bath, and a front parlor. The interior showcases artwork from local artists.  

The fully equipped kitchen consists of a full-size refrigerator, gas stove, gas double oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and dishware. The kitchen also displays products from a local beekeeper. There is a 3/4 bathroom with a 4' shower, towels, and plenty of room to get dressed and ready for the day.

Back in the Day Guest House provides linens for the following comfortable bedrooms:

• The Blue Room offers a full-size, 1929 black walnut wraparound bedframe. In addition, a solid wood antique five-drawer dresser is perfect for storing your clothing during your stay.

• The Purple Room offers a queen size, open-frame metal headboard and footboard, lending the room a vintage, airy ambiance. A five-drawer maple dresser and two small closets provide just enough space for your travel belongings.

There is ample off-street parking available alongside the home for up to two vehicles or one vehicle and a snowmobile, ATV or car trailer.

The guest house is a short walk to historic downtown Wellsboro where guests can admire the authentic gaslights that line Main Street and Central Avenue.

Additional Information

• There are a few steps to enter the guest house. In addition, as the home was built in 1901, some floors are uneven which attributes to the home's character.

• WI-FI, a Smart TV, and DVD player are provided but no Cable television. However, guests can request to borrow DVDs from the video library or bring their own.

• The owners live next door. While they can offer immediate assistance and guidance, they also respect your privacy.

• Guests are renting at their own risks, are fully responsible, and are assuming the risk of any harm for their personal well-being or others whom they invite to use the premise. Guests hold Owners harmless and releases Owners from all liability in the event of any accidents, injuries or illness arising from the Guests use of the premises. The Owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests.
